The Diploma program is for students who
want to develop a foundation for Chaplaincy service and graduate study. It may
be completed in four areas of study, Hospital, Law Enforcement,
Counseling, and Church Administrative Chaplaincy.
Admission Requirements: General
Education Requirements: Twenty semester hours are required. A student must
either have transfer hours for the courses in the General Education area or
these courses must be completed with CBI or BBCS. See Curriculum for other
course requirements.
1. Diploma in Hospital Chaplaincy
In addition to the 10 General Education
requirements, 20 hours of Counseling, 16 hours in Bible and 3
semester hours of electives are required which is selected from the curriculum.
2. Diploma in Law Enforcement Chaplaincy
In addition to the 10 hours General
Education requirements, 20 hours in Law Enforcement, 12 hours in
Counseling, 12 hours in basic Bible and 3 hours of electives are required.
3. Diploma in Crisis Chaplaincy
In addition
to the 20 hours General Education requirements, 26 hours in Christian
Counseling, 12 hours Bible-related hours and 3 hours of electives are required.
4. Diploma in Church Administration
Chaplaincy
In addition to 20 hours General
Education requirements, 18 hours in core Church Administration, 12 hours in
Business Administration concentration, 9 hours in Bible-related, and 3 hours of
electives are required.
