ADVANCE DIPLOMA AND SPECIALIZED CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS       


     The Advance Diploma and Specialized Certificate program is designed for students who want to develop a foundation for Christian service and graduate study. It may be completed in several areas of study, Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Counseling, Christian Worker, and Church Administration.

Admission Requirements:

      General Education Requirements: Thirty-two semester hours are required. A student must either have transfer hours for the courses in the General Education area, or these courses must be completed with BBCS. See Curriculum for other course requirements.

 Advance Diploma in Biblical Studies

     In addition to the 32 hours General Education requirements, 14 hours in Old Testament, 14 hours in New Testament, 12 hours in Doctrine, Theology, History, and 6 hours of electives are required.

 Advance Diploma in Christian Counseling

     In addition to the 32 hours General Education requirements, 30 hours in Christian Counseling, 9 hours Bible-related hours and 3 hours of electives are required.

 Note: The counseling programs or its individual courses alone are not designed to qualify the student for counseling licensure in specific states. Each state establishes its own requirements. A student interested in seeking such licensure should check with his/her state-licensing agency to obtain information regarding its requirements.

 Advance Diploma in Church Business Administration

     In addition to 32 hours General Education requirements, 15 hours in core Church Administration, 12 hours in Business Administration concentration, 9 hours in Bible-related, and 3 hours of electives are required.

 Advance Diploma in Pastoral Theology

     In addition to the 32 hours General Education requirements, 12 hours in Bible, 3 hours in church history, 15 hours in basic theology and 3 hours of electives are required

 Specialized Christian Worker Diploma/Certificate

     In addition to the 32 hours General Education requirements, 15 hours in Bible, 3 hours in church history, 12 hours in basic Ministries and 3 hours of electives are required 32 hours General Education  requirements, 15 hours in Bible, 3 hours in church history, 12 hours in basic Ministries and 3 hours of electives are required   Counseling Specialization’s Offered:
