BACHELOR PROGRAM

 The Bachelor Degree Program provides the student with a basic course of study giving him or her a foundation for Christian ministry and fruitful Christian living. This degree is not a liberal arts degree; it is a theological preparation and intended to equip the student to live a life that glorifies God. Upon completion, the student will be able to demonstrate confident proficiency in the following disciplines:

  • Basic Evangelical Theology 
  • Bible Interpretation
  • Bible Contents
  • Christian Ministry
  • Church History
  • Defense of the Faith
  • Language Development-English   Further proficiency is gained by completing their emphasis track. This is comprised of electives taken in a certain emphasis. They include:
  • Biblical Studies 
  • Christian Counseling
  • Christian Education
  • Theology
  • Ministry

 Pastoral Theology

Credit Requirements: The student is required to complete 120 credits. The credits are comprised of Core Curriculum: 90 credits-Core curriculum completion is mandatory for receiving the Bachelors. You can view the courses under each program by clicking the link. Electives: 30 credits

The electives are arranged "buffet style" so that the student may mix and match the combination desirable. By selecting courses primarily in theology, a student is said to have an emphasis in theology. You can view the electives here.

Bachelor of Chaplaincy Studies

In addition to the 26 hours General Education requirements, 22 hours in Old Testament, 12 hours in New Testament, 12 hours in Doctrine, Theology, History, and 51 hours of Chaplaincy are required.

Bachelor of Christian Counseling

In addition to the 36 hours General Education requirements, 30 hours in Christian Counseling, 18 hours Bible-related hours and 39 hours of electives are required.

 Note: The counseling degree program or its individual courses alone are not designed to qualify the student for counseling licensure in specific states. Each state establishes its own requirements. A student interested in seeking such licensure should check with his/her state-licensing agency to obtain information regarding its requirements.

Bachelor of Church Administration Chaplaincy

In addition to 36 hours General Education requirements, 45 hours in core Business Administration, 15 hours in Business Administration concentration, 18 hours in Bible-related, and 9 hours of electives are required. A minor in Church Business Administration is available as part of the BA in Business Administration.

Cost: $140 per credit. Transferred and life experience credits are charged a small fee. Textbooks are included for students in the US and Canada.
