Academics
We believe effective education for ministry must combine serious scholarship with faithful discipleship. Our curricula are designed to deepen the spiritual nature, strengthen the intellectual and enhance our ability to serve well.
Chaplain Bible Institute and Bethel Bible College and Seminary offers undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degrees in various fields of Christian Disciplines. Each degree is described below. In addition, we offer non-academic degrees. These nonacademic degrees are offered to ministers having achieved a certain level of expertise in ministry. These are research-based degrees.
Chaplain Bible Institute was established to prepare students for full-time ministry or to better equip those already in ministry. These professional degrees are designed to provide the tools needed to minister effectively and with confidence.
All counseling courses taken through Bethel are certified by The Association of Christian Counselors and Therapist. We are also approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Social Workers; the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapist; and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
Cost varies with each program: Certificate Courses are $65 per credit: Diploma Courses are $85 per credit: Specialized Diplomas and Certificates are $95 per credit. Transferred and life experience credits are charged at quarter-price. Textbooks are included for students in the US and Canada.
Cost: Associates Degree Courses are $110 per credit: Bachelor Degree Courses are $140 per credit: Master Degree Courses are $160 per credit: Doctorate Degree Courses and PhD Program are $180 per credit (Books are Not Included in these Fees)
